Baked Salmon with Creamy Avocado Sauce
A tasty and healthy dish with soft baked salmon and a creamy avocado sauce on top. This recipe has a great mix of flavors and is a classy choice for dinner.
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C
Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper
Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork
While the salmon is baking, prepare the creamy avocado sauce
In a blender or food processor, combine the avocados, sour cream, cilantro, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper
Blend until smooth and creamy
If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of water to thin it out
Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly
Serve the baked salmon with a generous drizzle of the creamy avocado sauce on top
Garnish with additional cilantro and lime wedges if desired
