Best Steamed Clams



This steamed clam recipe is easy to follow and tastes great. When you mix garlic, butter, and white wine together, you get a tasty broth that goes well with the sweet fresh clams.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs fresh clams
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Rinse the clams under cold water, scrubbing if necessary to remove any grit

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat

Add the minced garlic and saut until fragrant

Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer

Add the clams to the pot, cover, and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened

Discard any clams that do not open

Season the steamed clams with salt and pepper to taste

Garnish with chopped parsley before serving
