Classic Crepe Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Additional butter for cooking
Instructions:
Put the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, salt, and vanilla extract in a blender
It will take about 20 to 30 seconds of blending until the batter is smooth and well mixed
Do not mix the batter for 15 to 20 minutes
This will help any air bubbles settle
Put a nonstick skillet or crepe pan on medium heat and add a little butter to cover the bottom
Put about a quarter cup of batter in the middle of the pan and swirl it around to make it spread out all over
After one to two minutes of cooking, the edges should start to come off and the bottom should be a light golden brown color
With a spatula, carefully flip the crepe over and cook for another one to two minutes, until the other side is lightly browned
Take the crepe out of the pan and do it again with the rest of the batter
Before each crepe, add a little butter to the pan
You can put Nutella, strawberries, whipped cream, or anything else you like inside your classic crepes
